SGM (Ret.) SWEITZER, Judd Russell, born 5/21/1969, age 54, passed away suddenly due to natural causes on Tuesday 1/16/2024, in Newville, PA.

Sweitzer was working as an Anti-Terrorism expert at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA after 20 years’ service in the US Army (1987-2007). He retired as a SGM from the 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion. Sweitzer was attached to the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division during the Thunder Run on Baghdad (2003). He is survived by his children Gunther Sweitzer and Kayleigh Sweitzer as well as his wife and soulmate, Halley Sweitzer, his sisters Shelby Goettel and Sydney Sweitzer, and his uncle William Gary.
