With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Scott Robin Hargy, who dedicated an impressive 33 years of service to his country in the US Navy. Robin departed this world on 26 June 2023.
Born on 9 August 1960, Robin was raised in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Enlisting in the United States Navy, he embarked on a journey that would include deployments to support operations in the Operation Desert Storm and the Global War on Terrorism.
Beyond his military service, Robin was a devoted member of VFW Post 4010 in Stafford, Texas and enjoyed playing the snare drum with friends and with bagpipers.
In honoring his memory, let us remember the sacrifices made by veterans like Scott Robin Hargy and express our deepest gratitude for their service and commitment to our nation. A memorial and tribute to celebrate the life of Scott Robin Hargy will be held on Sunday, 2 July for family, friends, and members of the VFW Post 4010. The family is coordinating a military funeral at the Houston National Cemetery with the McNutt Funeral Home of Lufkin, Texas.
